Want to make my first tombstone

I have read everywhere about using the blue or pink insulation boards for making my own tombstones. I was doing some searching on ebay and came across some "deals" on the white insulation boards. Are these the ones that tend to crumble? Wanted to check with the experts before doing anything.

I to use the white foam. I'm always able to find it free in varying shapes and sizes. The white foam is definetaly more fragile to work with than the pink or blue foam. The trick with the white stuff is to use sharp cutting tools or a styrofoam heat cutter and a wood burning tool with a dimmer switch attached to control the amount of heat when etching in words. It can also be sanded but use caution and go slow when doing so. Always make sure to hand paint your stone with latex paint to seal all the nooks and crannies.
Here are some on my stones that I've done in the white foam. This may help in your decision to use the white foam.
