I just bought 4 of those heads that barbers practice on when they're first learning how to cut.
Any suggestions for what I can do with them? Stain them, paint them, mummify them, etc???

Have any of you ever done anything with these types of heads?

Do you have pics? I've never seen one.

Take out the plastic bottom, then carefully cut the neck into jagged sections. Then paint red. You have an instant chopped off head.

This is what I did last year. The head was jerking as I turned on the saw.

This year I'm creating a body for her and doing something like Madmax's idea of having her jump out at you or rocking back and fourth in a straight jacket.

Paint the skin (NOT THE EYES OR HAIR OR LIPS) neon green.
Put it in a small cage.
Face it toward where people will be walking.

There is something similar in our haunt (not in our exhibit though).
