AI Halloween Inspiration Images

As 'The Rise of AI' continues, it seems the AI image generators have moved out of the comic-strip level and are now generating some pretty amazing images. I've actually added Midjourney's 'showcase' to my daily 'news feed' just to have a browse.

Several of the images struck me as some inspiration for Halloween, so thought I'd create a thread to display some of the ones I captured and also space for anyone else to upload.

As some general rules:

- Keep these 'AI generated' only.
Don't upload photos of your haunt, your projects, costumes, personal artwork, etc. Plenty of other places to do that and they will likely be better recognized in those locations.

- Keep the images relatively along the lines of 'traditional' Halloween. Black cats, pumpkins, cemeteries, ghosts, spooky scenes, hauntings, goblins, witches, demons, skulls, etc.
I know 'Halloween' can veer off into pirates, UFOs, aliens, circus shows, pop culture and lots of other topics. If needed, we can start threads for those, too.

- Requests?
Possibly! I do some basic 'photoshop' work, so if you're like, "I'd love to have that in black & white instead of color." - maybe I would whip something up. But nothing too complicated! I've also been tempted to try a month at Midjourney to try some of my own prompts and images. I guess at that point, I could possibly do some requests, too.

Anyway, we will see how it goes!

Interesting! I had to do a search, but I do see the resemblance.

This brings up a couple of good points...

  • If images are on the internet, they have probably been hoovered up by AI
  • In the prompt you can ask for something "in the style of [...]" so possibly the original requester mentioned 'in the style of Ray Villafane'
  • In looking through Ray's work, I don't see any exact matches to the images I found on Midjourney. But my thought was maybe some of the 'off the wall' stuff it comes up with will serve as inspiration for real Halloween creations.

(I thought the candles around the snake pumpkin (Post #7) were really cool and I don't know that I have ever seen a cyclops pumpkin (Post #11) - but that might be neat by itself, or as a minion pumpkin. The top pumpkin on the stack in my last post above made me think it might be neat to set two candles in one pumpkin so that from just the right angle, they look like eyes watching you walk by.)
